Our remarkable town offers one-of-a-kind shops, delicious eateries, and fun events for all ages. Visitors gather downtown for our annual Dogwood Festival in April, Fourth of July Parade, and magical nighttime Christmas parade. Mebane is also home to several 5K events, the Dogwood Golf Tournament, and Clay Street After Work outdoor concerts.

Ready for some outdoor recreation? Try fishing or paddle boating at Lake Michael or hit the links at one of our area golf courses. Mebane also offers a number of hiking, biking, and walking trails. (link to Mebane on the Move)

Satisfy your tastebuds at one of our many restaurants. Visitors can sample a variety of fare -- from a downtown deli with homemade bread to fine dining. The Winery at Iron Gate Farm and the Saxapahaw General Store feature locally grown products and are just a short, scenic drive outside of town.

Antique lovers from around the country flock to the Mebane Antique Auction Gallery for both weekly and special auctions. A number of antique merchants can be found in our charming downtown, as well as gift shops, jewelry stores, and other unique retailers.

A few nearby attractions include the Haw River Paddle Trail, the Durham Performing Arts Center, and Sarah P. Duke Gardens.
