City of Mebane Trick or Treat and Costume Contest

We understand that Halloween may be much different this year than in the past! The City of Mebane will be providing a safe way for children to trick or treat this year! Please join us on Halloween, October 31, 2020, for our Drive Thru - Trick or Treat and Costume Contest outside the Mebane Arts and Community Center from 10am to 4pm.

Pre Registration: To guarantee your child(ren) a trick or treat bag, please sign up via our CIVIC REC software. We have 500 trick or treat bags to hand out, if you sign up on-line prior to the event, you we will hold a bag(s) until you arrive that day before 4:00pm.

Event Details:

Bring your child(ren) dressed in their costume and follow signs to the MACC entrance
Please pay close attention to the route leading you to the MACC
When you are signaled and stopped by a Recreation and Parks Leader, Parents will be asked to provide their child's information to Rec. Leaders (FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED)
Children and one Parent will get out of their car to snap a photo of their child in front of the photo booth.
Children will be placed into costume categories and random prize winners will be chosen.
Reminder - Only one parent and one child outside of the car at a time (if multiple children are in one vehicle, they will need to take turns outside the vehicle)
Child will have their photo taken at Halloween photo booth by parent and Rec. Leaders
The first 500 participants will receive a FREE trick-or-treat goodie bag
